Anyone ever look at a solar eclipse without any protection?
 

When I was in about 3rd or 4th grade (hell I can't remember been too long) there was a solar eclipse and our teacher let us go outside and use some whack shit with notecards to look at it. She said not look at it cause our eyes would get fucked up later on down the road. It's been ummm a lot of years since then and my eyes are still perfect. That lying douche bag.

I always wear a condom when viewing an eclipse.

Thanks to a solar eclipse I am blind in my right eye. :(

So maybe she wasn't bullshitting me.

Ive only ever seen one. I forget what I looked at it through. It was some kind of dark strip like out of an old floppy disk.

i have looked at eclipses without protection before, but not for more than about 5 seconds at a time. i dont notice any damage

I remember looking directly at one before.

Oh well......

Ive looked at several unprotected and I still have 20/20.
