    Virtual hosting and Hun listing?

    K I have a question, yes I've never been listed on the Hun. I remember a post a while ago that somebody said they were accepted for a listing on the Hun. He said he had Webair virtual hosting which is what I have, and was worried about bandwidth.

    Then later in the post he said the Hun emailed him and said he couldn't list it because it was on a proxy server. Now I'm not sure what a proxy server is, so I'm wondering does virtual hosting = proxy server? I.E. will the Hun not list a gallery from me because I don't have a dedicated server?

      and to answer the question... no, virtual accounts are fine on the hun

          I think that was me... I got the rejection because my domain was registered using "Domains By Proxy" . This just hides your personal info. The webAir part was fine...

          I ended up moving the gallery to another domain (on webair) and all was fine... I got a lower listing on the hun and still went through 60 gb of bandwith. The server handled everything without a problem.

              Yeah I think that was you, wasn't too long ago. Cool, sounds like I should be fine then (now if I can only get a gallery listed)

                              how did that end up working out for you? the listing, as far as sales go...
