Hopefully, they turn it back on soon. I know turning it off helps pageviews, but come on!

Without the search function it is pointless starting a serious
thread as you can't find it again the next day. So whenever the
search is disabled this place turns into a free for all of garbage.

Even if the policy is "what's said here stays here" I think google
would be a much better search option.

ever heard of bookmarks? maybe saving the URL in a txt file? if a thread is good, it's worth a little extra effort

what mr. searchy is far more useful for is hunting down info without letting the who board know what you want
