I don't think I'd bet a whole lot of my money on Kerry winning....

So far everything he's tried the last week or two has put Bush back in the lead in the polls. He's got to do more than bash Bush, it looks like it's starting to backfire on him.

But we'll see what happens over the summer - a LOT can happen yet.

I doubt if the Kerry supporters change the mind of a single Bush supporter, and vice-versa. It's obvious a lot of people have made up their minds based on Headline News or go with whoever they think it is popular to go with, or just against whoever they think it's cool to bash. I guess it makes them feel they are up on current events.

How many know-it-all's on one side or the other are going to end up eating thier words and bitching about it for the next 4 years?

All of your first points are personal opinion. Just because something is someway doesn't mean it is the best way for an economy. If those 57 overseas companies were forced to come back into the US then the amount of jobs and revenue kept here would be enormous. Heinz would have to do restructuring of course, find ways to cut costs, might make them not make as much money - but then that allows for smaller businesses to start up in the same market as opposed to allowing the giants grow bigger killing the little guys.

Kerry has been called the Most Liberal Democrat in Washington. He's been quoted as saying "I voted for the 87 billion dollars before I voted against the 87 billion dollars" (That was in reference to funding the war in Iraq) and he has waffled on more decisions than anyone I can remember.

There's one reason he won't win in November though, and thats because the Clinton's won't let him.

Americans and Canadians want cheap products, they are responsible for outsourcing.
Walmart tried to have the "Made in America" prduct next to the "Made in China" product. 95% purchased the cheaper "Made in China" product.
Now the cheap bastards are crying for their lost jobs and want someone to pay.

Cheap is all relative. It would be good to force people to not buy all the junk that is available out there. Force them to conserve energy and reserve their spending for needs more than wants. American and Canadian COMPANIES want cheap labour, so they can make $10,000,000 with massive amounts of quantity instead of making $500,000 with a moderate amount of quality.
