Domains for LEASE---mainstream

webpoker.com
webwagers.com
proboxing.com
spouses.com
navigator.com
today.com
hotstock.com
leagues.com

all get some type in traffic but somewhat minimal. Not looking for a lot of money. Deals on a per month basis. I would have interest in making long term lease deals. Not intrested in selling them unless offer knock my socks off..

Are people really leasing domains? It's pretty much pointless to build up the PR or traffic longterm when the owner can pull the plug on you and harvest the goodies any time.

KRL 03-31-2004 02:32 PM

You should call NBC and pop them Today.com for the morning Today Show.

sure --but mostly pointed ones. as long as there is some type in traffic they have value. kind of depends what you charge. There have been adult domains that used to lease for 100k a month. These above domains would be in 100's not 1000's

Nice. :thumbsup

riosluts 03-31-2004 10:11 PM

umm this is a first for me. ive never heard of anyone actually leasing domains. Even if your website got popular, the domain owner would just steal all your traffic after it got popular (and thats legal)

Exactly, leasing domain names is not like leasing land, a house or a car.

howard 04-01-2004 07:27 AM

3 letter domains

jdy.com
kjy.com
tbk.com
rbu.com
bfy.com
oc48.com
cpt4.com
dby.com
ecup.com
ewar.com
gau.com
hbh.com
iay.com
lgy.com
nt7.com
pbu.com
qe3.com
yja.com
wih.com

all our available per lease--although not sure how much traffic they get..

someone bought 1 within the last year and they paid $5000..So that would be the minimal price (please understand I am not pushing to sell these--I would rather keep them).. ewar would be more..

howard 04-01-2004 07:29 AM

others available are

oldsongs.com
actingjobs.com
onlinehoroscope.com
stockweb.com
bailout.com
jchat.com
matchfind.com

My company has owned a bunch of top domains which it has sold including magazine.com, sweepstakes.com, scores.com, woman.com, stockmarket.com, pointspreads.com, pointspread.com, cheapflight.com as well as many others. They recieve a lot of type in traffic that can be pointed to websites that can use there traffic. In 99, 2000, 2001 those domains were leased for as much as $50,000 a month.

for example take magazine.com. No one would ever type in that domain unless they were looking to purchase magazines. The domain averaged 1500 to 2000 type ins a day back then. I used to get up to $50,000 a month from magazine sites and it was quite worth it for them.

Basic_man 04-01-2004 07:38 AM

You own today.com ? nice :thumbsup

Jdoughs 04-01-2004 07:40 AM

those names are great..not sure on the lease though...would have to be one solid contract but youd still be hosed when it was over..allthough you could make it while it was runnin
