Kerry Dips Into Clinton's Bag Of Tricks
'I'm fascinated by Rap and Hip-Hop' says Democratic presidential candidate, John Kerry during an MTV Choose or Loose forum. Offering up a heavy dose of street credibility, Kerry defended gangsta rap, freedom of speech and the realities of street life."
Pandering at it's finest. :1orglaugh http://www.sohh.com/thewire/read.php?contentID=5697 |

He's stooped way too low already for me to vote for him. I can't imagine having a President that threw his Military Honors away to denounce his government. Maybe he'll try again in 2008 - he can be Hillary's running mate. |

Imagine if Bush did that. The press would have a field day. The Dems get a free pass of course. |

I could see this backfiring in Kerry's face if he can't name 10 rap or hip-hop stars or for that matter, any of their songs. :thumbsup |
Kerry defends Gangsta Rap but also states at the same time that he does not approve of many of the lyrics used in rap songs, and suggests they tone them down.
Kerry on both sides of an issue. Shocking. From a political standpoint, it would be far better for him to just say, "look this is an issue of free speech. Its not the government's place to try to tell someone what they can and can't say." Instead he attempts to play to both sides. Typical. |
