Yeah I've never had the rapid test done..

I just heard a news that there is a new way on how you can test if you've had an AIDS or not, it's like a pregnancy test kit, wherein you just need to use your saliva and *boom* you can verify if you havve that disease or not.

they do rapid tests at one clinic in San Francisco. its 1 drop of blood and a 20 minute wait.

they can also do the saliva test. they swab the inside of your cheek but it's a 2 week wait.

i got my test done for free! best 0 dollars I ever spent!

a aids test is 35EUR here :(

but i donate blood. so its free :D

yeah they really dont charge people here for that sort of thing. even though it's almost impossible for a straight male to get aids tested in SF. they really only want to test gay dudes.

do those 1 minute test really work?

the 20 minute tests look for the antibodies your immune system builds up to fight aids. they're only effective if you've been living with it for 3-6 months. i have no fucking clue how that 1 minute test works.
