about the terrorists arrested in UK
 

do you think with all the terrorist acts being "foiled" the past couple of weeks:
is it just PR stunt?

do you think the governments are faking all these to make it seem that they have terrorism under control and that the war was justified?
or you think there really were terrorists and they were just dumb to get caught?

I"m sure alot of them get caught. Nobody ever gets credit for preventing crime, but there's hell to pay if they don't. However I'm also sure quite a bit of it is media stunts.

I don't know but we know that Spain's president arrested a few Muslims and designated them as terrorists in order to get support for his war on Iraq. Obviously they turned up to be completely innocent and now they're suing.

All I know is that all those arrests don't mean anything good. Either the terrorists are increasing in huge numbers or it's the government assuming that your average criminal is a terrorist. I mean they don't have to charge them with anything, they can detain anyone indefinetly without the need for a lawyer or a trial.

i agree with you 100% about assuming its terrorist
now days if you have a surname that has 3 consonants in a row with no vowel - you are a terrosit in eyes of the law.

BUt in this case - they found lots of explosives and all terrorists living close to airports

I'm gonna go with a little of both.

Very much doubt that they try to calm everyone, since while they arrest terrorists you hear people like the head of london police say that a terrorist attack in london is impossible to stop.
