Who is liable for copyright on gfy?

Would probably depend on where the infringing content appears and how, the poster could also be responsible in some cases, if its part of a thread I suppose.

If you are referring to a sponsor's image - the sponsor would be responsible - as I am assuming that GFY has a clause in their advertising contracts that the 'advertiser' has all rights to images it will be displaying.

If GFY would also be designing the banner for them & there is copyright infringement, then they would be liable.

It's 2am.....I think it makes sense (at least it does in my head) if it doesn't I'll try tomorrow morning :)

I think perhaps what he meant was, say for example somebody posted an image like this.....

And the producer of the image (this one being AMAcontent.com)
gets angry for it being posted on here. Then, as he asked.
"Who would be liable for that?"
