What do you Value?

Everyone Values different things.

I admit - i like getting toys. But I know that it's not the having that turns me on, it's the getting.

As I get older I realize more and more that the people I meet and have relationships with that i value the most. Sure money's important, but to me it's a means to an end and not the entire focus.

Doctor Dre 03-30-2004 11:25 PM

My couple closes friends would go before couple grands ...

I like getting new things, but I don't use them nearly as much as I should . Often something I'l buy will stay unused for couple months .

That's sad ...

I like making money more then spending it actually . It feals great !

exspamr 03-30-2004 11:25 PM

i used to be like that but its getting old... people can come to expect things... like hello?!?!? just because i have certifications and ive helped in the past doesnt mean im at your beck and call for computer tech support... and just because i have more money than you doesnt make me your go to person every time you need a loan... i just got paid back on my last loan for a friend... took like 5 months to get paid when it was supposed to be a 1 week deal, and the whole time i had to keep crackin the whip

media 03-30-2004 11:39 PM

What do I value, hrmm.. lets see..

Security in knowing that my wife is being taken care of financially, if she ever needs money she can come to me without worrying.

The time I spend with my wife, driving around, walking around, sitting and holding hands..

I value everything I have bought with the money I have earned, Rather than stealing it like I would have as a minor..

I value having a good job with a company that treats me with respect, and allows me to make my own decisions that will benifit the company in the long run..

I value my friends that I have made along the way

I value my health, without it, I would not be able to carry on..

Thats about all I can think of right now... Im sure theres alot more... could prolly fill a book up...

Friends, family and helping those people who are close to me that need it. I never really indulged on the money I've earnt in this business and still live a student's lifestyle. Never felt the need to self-indulge when my friends needed help.

Mind if I ask you a personal question publicly?

You seem like you could fit this situation based on what I observe of your posts, so I'm wondering if this is true:

Were you the type of person that before you got into the adult online biz, you didn't have many friends, but once you got into the biz and met some people and made true friends, that you really started to value friendship with people?

Napolean 03-31-2004 12:47 AM

all i want out of life is to keep ahead of my bills, spend more time with family and friends.

nope - i have tons of friends outside of adult.
all different age groups too. I will admit I'm more comfortable with a group of people who accept what i do for a living then with a group I can't pubically tell though.

TurboTrucker 03-31-2004 01:01 AM

cool, thanks.

And I do agree about the more comfortable with people who accept what you do and those that you can't publicly tell - it's true.
