Why are my sigs and sig ads being edited?
 

I was told my sigs could be 240x60 but now they are being edited.

I have it from Eric in an email if that helps...

Is there new mod here or something?

Yeah Chris, mine was replaced by a adultplatinum sig. It was funny :)

Basically Chris like the email says that you have YOU can have a larger sig. But we reserve the larger sigs for top advertisers. So for the sigs you bought they will have to be the smaller 120x60s. That make more sense?

And Eric, pardon me but the sig market is making this board live right now . If you don't let the big buyers a prividlege at some place in the process, they will stop and the whole idea will die . That will mean less money for lensman because there will be a lot less webmasters posting as much as they do .

No this has always been. We just don't have time to catch them all. Only so many hours in the day. In your email you didn't ask about buying sigs you only asked about your sig.

So you are saying that I should devalue what the top sponsors are paying for? They are paying more money for more privilages. Chris is more than welcome to jump up to a top spot and I will give him a smoking deal. And he can have the larger size sigs all over the place.

So basically this decision was made because I was too active in sig buying market.

Every other HIRED sig can be the size of their banner basically..

When did I change the rules? The rules have always been that top banner spot advertisers get bigger sigs for anyone pushing their program. I gave Chris the Ok to have a bigger banner in HIS sig. He never asked about buying sigs and then putting bigger banners in there. I don't see where I am changing the rules here.

What I'm saying is that GFY is on top right now and people come here to spend their money . If you don't give them the opportunity to make it back, they will build their own projects or spend it somewhere else .

I mean the guy spent 10k . He made the board grow for sure since the people that post will post more from now on . This place is getting addictive really fast (even for a newb getting paid 50 $ a month) .

Eric there was no sig market before 2 months ago..this is a new rule because I bought too many sigs from a LOT of webmasters here.

dont have a sig market to then screw with me cause I supported it.

If a law isn't getting enforced, ppl break it.
If it start getting enforced 10 years later, and ppl are used to do something, they will be mad.
There is a need for someone to be sig moderating . I'm sure you can find somebody in the crowd for free to do that . But if you apply rules halfway then there is gonna be some people that will be mad :)

Actually if you want me to sig moderate everybody equally, I'l do it for free I'm here everyday and I don't mind doing it :) I think that would be the best solution for everybody ...

You guys are nuts. Ever since last summer (I believe) the only people that could sport "larger than average" banners were those that were pushing "major sponsors". "Major sponsors" being those that have purchased top banner spots.

The rules have always been like that.

Metaformx
Brad Shaws
Persian Kitty
Masked Man
Dr Dre

and probably 20 others..

I had 1 problem before and that was metaformx's during a big time here that I told him to just change rather than challenge, cause I didnt want to get caught up in the drama.

All the other sigs, flew at 240x60 till today.

Rules are made ... Rules are broken.

But rules need to be inforced by a law representative wich wasn't done . If somebody spend 10k $ thinking he's doing it legally, then there is a need for something to be done .
