Teen Girl Arrested For Making Child Porn

PITTSBURGH ? In a rare reversal of order, a teen girl who took nude photos of herself and then posted them on the Internet has been arrested for child porn, authorities reported Tuesday.
After investigators seized her hard drive and examined its contents, the 15-year-old was charged with possession of child pornography as well as sexual abuse of children, police reported.

The girl was allegedly involved in producing content of herself performing sex acts and then sharing the pictures with people she met in chat rooms.

Further details on the case were not available at the time of this posting.

Lets say it would be ok for a 15 year old to post naked pics of herself. That would open up for pedos to pay their victims enough money for them to say they took pics of themself, not the pedo. The pedo would be untouchable.

It doesn't have to be okay to let 15 year olds post nude pictures of themselves. We can create new laws that are specific enough to prevent just this. We should not mischarge people. This is an abuse the current laws on record.

I think she should be punished, but the law doesn't adequately cater for what she did, and she will be unfairly punished for the rest of her life because of it. She could be known as a sex offender for the rest of her life for nothing more than bad judgement.

I think they should get her on the distribution of child pornography. She's 15...if girls think this is okay to do at that age, it will just get worse. The reprocutions it will cause they may not think about at that age, it could haunt them later in life. As well, they are feeding to petophiles, they endanger themselves. I don't think arresting her on some of the charges are right, but they definitely should get her on something. God I love the fringe areas of the law. This is a seriously fun one for the courts... So is it illegal if she was only showing them to other underage people?? It is legal (in most places) for underage people to have sex with other underagage people, so by that logic it would make sense that she should be able to send them to other minors...
