not sure if any home is ever secure enough. we have motion lights all around, alarm installed, deadbolts on all doors. but if someone wants in, they are coming in

very secure :) cant say much more but put it this way, you go near my place ur on camera :)

Until today I only had the chain on the gate, now I have a Yale lock (as well as dogs and guns!!!) and feel much more secure, who wants to take bets for how many days (or hours) until I forget my keys lol

no - a shotgun is more than enough for home defense - I'm not looking to shoot thru walls and harm my loved ones

and since I'm not a filthy druglord piece of shit, I tend not to worry about heavily armed death squads storming my compound

I'm in an apartment building... The other tenants let people in all the time if they're walking up to the front door.

As for the door to my apartment, it's extremely flimsy and I bet I could kick it in with minimal effort.

As for the back side, I'm on a hill, so even if I'm on the 3rd floor my balcony is basically 2 stories off the ground... Pretty easy to climb up to, and I rarely close my windows or sliding door, even when I'm not home.

In America, we baricade ourselves behind locks, stash weapons, and live constantly in fear.

In Canada, they sleep with their doors unlocked.

"How secure is your home?" It's all a matter of opinion, perception, and fear induced by the media.

umm i have dead bolts and locks but no alarms, hell i live four blocks from a police station that has like 2 miles of coverage and 50 cops, and not to mention the thousand old people that leave in this town, not to many threats and i agree with the rest if they want in this house no alarm or camera or motion light is going to stop them but the 45 mm should

My house is attached securely with 1" anchor bolts to a 12" concrete foundation.

The bushes are trimmed, accent lighting have been added and will cast shadows against the house if anyone is hiding down there. The address is well lit so emergency personal can find the place if something did happen.

My house sits on a corner with three other NRA members, so if one of us is out of town, we keep an eye for it, and happily report anything out of the norm to the local (and very bored) police who usually show up en masse. :)

Anyone stupid enough to attempt an entry through anything besides the front door, will see the bright light of the Surefire forend, and less than a second later the muzzle blast of 00 buck from my Remington 870.

I live in the US and I sleep with my doors unlocked, my keys and wallet are currently in my unlocked car and when the gas guy came by to relight my pilot lights when I wasn't home, he came on in and lit them :) And I'm willing to bet almost every household in my town owns a gun. :thumbsup
