Another Fire season starting
 

This summer is already off to a bad start for forest fires. :(


March 30th, 2004
FORT COLLINS Colorado - A grass and brush fire is burning at the mouth of Poudre Canyon in the Picnic Rock area.

The Picnic Rock fire was reported at 11:17 a.m. and is currently at 10 acres.

Poudre Fire Authority is fighting the fire and has seven pieces of firefighting equipment on the scene. They have requested assistance from Larimer County Emergency Services and the U.S. Forest Service. They have also requested a helicopter.

Larimer County Sheriff's Office Emergency Services has assumed command of the fire.

One house was in danger, but was protected by firefighters. There are currently no closures or evacuations in place.

yep,there are fires in my hometown RVA where the school was burnt down.
