"those sharing more then 2500 pieces of information" Something needs to be done. I'm always hesitant about new legislation though. |
Won't pass.
i bet they'll feel a little stupid when they have 500k new 14 years olds in the court system and then have to get re-elected with votes from those kids parents.

p2p will never die
p2p is eternal it's the cockroach that comes back as one and multiplies as 4,000 .
They can't do anything, there's too many users!
that site just screams trust worthy news
It is always a slippery slope when you start calling the people who elected you criminals.
It really seems as if the word 'Proactive' has been removed from all of the dictionaries in Washington. We wonder why america is violent and overweight. Too many sticks... not enough carrots. and for crockett - http://www.wired.com/news/digiwood/0...=wn_polihead_4 |
Shennanigans!
It won't hold up in court. The issue of the legality of P2P network has already been decided in Appeals Court since there are legal uses of file sharing.
I wonder how that will play out....
Got warez biatch?
I share 10 314 files, 671 folders - 71,6 GB Am I going to jail now? :waaaaahh (Its only freeware and shareware) :thumbsup |
In other news. Australian recording industry tries to conceal record breaking sales.
Oh, and same thing in UK. And news.com article - Study says that music sharing doesn't kill sales |
this was out on wired.com a day or 2 ago...same topic...
http://www.wired.com/news/digiwood/0,1412,62830,00.html why does congress have such a thrill for wanting to put everyone in prison? are they really closet sadists/rapists? |
