Remove camera flash frames from video?

Anyone know of any plugins for Vegas or Adobe to remove flash frames from video? Or a standalone program that can do it?

Let me explain a little more.

You are shooting a video and also taking still pics. The flash from the still camera shows up for a few frames in the video.

Anything to scan a video and remove the frames the camera flash shows up in?

Danielle

You could probably fiddle with the brightness for those frames to reduce the effect, but it's unlikely you'll be able to remove it completely... the sudden increase in light will probably momentarily saturate the image sensor (before the mechanical iris can compensate), which will cause it to wash out some detail.

There may be something more advanced that can delete the flash frames and synthesize (morph) the missing ones...

i think that this is a pretty tough job and it would take a fair bit of work. if you delete the frames with the flash it would make the video jumpy.

No way to remove without creating a mess.

If you are taking shots, light the room well. The vid will look better and you may not need a flash.

Seems like it would not be a problem. A camera flash takes up about 3/100's of a second. So that would be just removing 3 frames out of 1 second per flash. That should not make things jumpy at all..

Any help here?

Danielle
