Ordering Video Content from Females on this Board = DON'T
 

A very short time ago I added one of the regular female posters on this message board to my ICQ list. After chatting awhile, she made an offer to shoot an exclusive video for my Amateur Market site for a very reasonable rate. I pay pal'd the money to her. The video was promised within a week. Two months later and no video!


Another female on this message board that doesn't like the female from the first paragraph was talking to me on ICQ. I told her my story. She told me "what do you expect from (unnamed female)?". Further in the conversation she told me that if I would like, she'd shoot a video for me for Amateur Market. We agreed on a price. I pay pal'd half the money this time. I told her I'd send half upfront and the other half upon completion. I was assured I would be SO happy with the speed at which I'd receive the video. She promised to shoot it that very night. It's been almost a month now. Still no video.

When I mentioned this to the second female, I was told that she had become ill the very night I paid her the half payment. She was better and would shoot the video. You guessed it... I still don't have it.


I don't want to mention the names of these ladies. I'm just kinda venting my disappointment. Neither of these two ladies realize what they lost. I would have gladly ordered over and over and over again. I also offered both of them the opporunity to promote their own sites on the video. I gave them permission to say "Hey, guys! This is so and so from such and such website... if you can't get enough of me on this site, head on over to my site at..."

I need the content for AmateurMarket.net and don't like to shoot hardcore that much. I guess I've learned that if I want reliable content production I'll have to continue shooting it myself.

List the names, I'm sure others have had problems. It will probably shame them both into getting you your videos (after they make some lame excuses).

Would one of them happen to be Heather Hamptons?

The one in the first paragraph sounds like the same girl who wanted me to pay her & her 3 inch man's expenses out to LA and get her work but wouldn't let me into her site without paying just to get some better casting pix. Lost in lala land without a clue. No wonder she's a broke wanna-be. Can't wait for this one to break.

I call it "camgirl mentality"
I won't name names either, and let me say straight off that this doesn't apply to most women on this board. But there definitely is a brand of women in this biz who seem to think that the mere fact that they are women gives them the right to fleece the men in the biz.

I've made many sites for camgirls. I register the domain names, build them, host them, send traffic to them, all I take in return is my affiliate earnings from my refcodes. Of course I've made money in this way. But I've lost a lot as well, in time and effort, and in plain cash when my stupid bleeding heart made me give them money when they couldn't pay the rent or whatever. In fact I'm out over 2K in loans that were never paid back.

Very often I've built sites for girls who just sorta disappeared offline straight after. Then suddenly after a year, out of the blue I get an ICQ message: "hey, how are ya? It's my birthday, check out my wish-list" Or "hey, how are you doing? Sorry I disappeared, I was having issues...can you build me a new site?"

I won't even go into the "donate money for my whatever" threads.

Okay... the lady from the 2nd paragraph pointed out to me that I am losing my sense of time. She told me I sent her the money only 15 days ago. She was sick for 7 of those days. Which means she's actually only had 8 days to shoot the video. It is ready and will go out tomorrow and she'll email me the confirmation number.

Okay, it was indeed Heather. I stuck up for her big time in her boobs thread and in other related threads.

She claims she shot the video and tried to upload it to her server for me to download, but that it was too big to upload. I guess it was too difficult to figure out how to mail it.

I am only out a small amount of money. She made me a great deal (at least it would have been great if I had received it). I'm not concerned in the least about that.

But I am tired of being quiet about it. I do not have any ill feelings towards her at all. I just can't believe that some people don't look towards the future at all. I really would have ordered 5-10 videos from her EVERY MONTH at the prices she gave me.... AND I would let her mention her website in every one of them.

People wonder why they can never get ahead in this business... this is a perfect example. This is a simple thing to do. Take tape to mail boxes etc. Package. Ship. Receive more money for more orders. Get free "member" traffic (the best there is... they've already paid to join a porn site). If someone can't handle this, they'll never EVER succeed.

Thats shady to say the least - and I'm sure the damage done to her reputation by this incident is many times greater than whatever monetary amount she may have gained.
