Anyone have any TV shows in .avi format

I just got my Lyra in the mail and it only supports certain .avi files. I have a bunch of TV shows and stuff in .avi, but they're all compressed with DiVX, when they have to be compressed with MPEG4-SP. Thanks.

Ahhhhh, that woulda been awesome. New question then, any idea how (if you can) rip from a DVD and turn it into a .avi? On a Mac with Final Cut.
