teenagers re-invent the language all the time - it's one of the reasons I love John Hughes movies - he had an ear for teenage dialogue, he spent days hanging out with them to pick that stuff up.

I say "sweet" pretty often. I suppose it gets annoying. But hey I'm 20 so fuck off.

dude used to fall into same category - but dude has become so much part of the language that i barely notice when it's used these days.

Yeah, I say it pretty often. I guess I just have a lot of good stuff going on in my life or something...there are only so many positive responses you can make. You're bound to use them all up pretty often.

I use that word way too much, but consider what I do.....However, I'm usually lying to some old fat guy telling him how "sweet" he is....blah, I'm not being cool when I use that word. And I just realized that this is a totally meaningless post.

I say it occasionaly. I don't see the big deal about it though. I guess it would get annoying if you said it all the time but that goes with anything.
