If you are looking to consolidate, does your credit score go down?

Does anyone know how to get your credit score higher, in days or weeks 24 hours?

In about 2 weeks. Pay off one of your bill accounts.

What about the consolidation? Does it drop your score or no?

it depends on HOW you consolidate... where you behind on payments already?

it counts as a negative comment if you do a last minute consolidation when you're already delinquent.

no unless you consolidated after going in default the rating gets a bit better immediately after consolidation cos it makes it look like you paid off a buncha your debts but don't just get too happy and tempted to put on more debts cos will adveresely effect you if you have too high revolving balances and it takes from 1 day to 3 months for anything good/bad to get reported in your history. Creditors don't report everyday but periodically some more often than others.

Im not behind one anything, its just I keep getting my ass kicked on 2 or more cc's for high apr. Its like a min payment of 60 but 45 dollars goes for the percentage so its like im going no where!

tell me about it.. CCs are fucking blood suckers. I cut off all my CCs a year ago and only use my debit card now. Anyways, you're doing a good thing so no worries.. just pay off your debts and then get a pair of scissors :winkwink:
