small price to pay.
Good job dude :thumbsup |
Your a HERO ! Good Work :thumbsup
|
ah, you needed a new one anyways :)
|
So the children were playing in and around the pool, with adult supervision? During this period, one of them got himself in to trouble .. And a responsible adult immediately pulled him out.
You see, having a fence around your pool, is no subsitute for adult supervision. And the same goes for the internet. |
Your a hero Lars :glugglug A cell is a small price to pay compared to saving a kids life
|
Good work Lars. I would say that's a small price to pay. You saved a life. :)

they don't call him legendary for nothing you know

Good job LL....
A phone is a tiny price to pay in exchange for a child's life and well-being. Besides, I'm sure you can afford it! |
Nice job :thumbsup

scarry stuff - you can NEVER take your eyes off toddlers around a pool. next time put an alarm wrist band on them - if they go in the pool you'll know RIGHT AWAY.
thank GOD you caught the kid in time. |
Way to go:thumbsup
Are you sure it wasn't a gfy sigwhore trying to get your attention? |

There will always be a blessing in return.
Bigger and greater than your cellphone.:) |
Lars,
Now you know how it feels to save a life. I saved one myself years ago, that feeling don't go away. Good job!! |
that's awesome, shame about the cell but ya did save a kid... that's worth much more :glugglug
|
Yeah well my wife was watching teh kid the whole time
she just thought the kid knew how to swim.... So even with direct eye contact i guess its best to talk to the people before ya let their kids swim in your pool.. we have the automatic pool cover and that has been really awesome.... but even with that ya gotta be extra dilligent ! It freaked me out way more than the kid.. she swam around the rest of the day with no fear... Nextel will replace it tomorrow when I can get em on the phone i got the insurance.. I was scared I lost my phone numbers but I think I got them on teh sim card... I hope |
Another thought....
If you are in the US it would be standard to sue the kids parents for a new cell phone and emotional damage. Disgusting but true :helpme |
wow... reminds me of my childhood.
i nearly drowned when i was around 4-5 years old. an older girl jumped in and saved me. |
lol at least you saved the kid.
Good for you Lars |

Tell that story to the girl behind the cellphone counter at the mall. She'll probably give you a discount.
