SE Gurus - traffic trade with a PR0 (google ban)? They send tons of traffic.

Would you trade with a PR0 that wasn't a new site. That means google shit on them for one reason or another. They are not going to show in your backlinks.

If you show them in your top list, chances are it is gonna hurt your PR and keyword listing.

Now say that PR0 sends you plenty of traffic!

Comments please.

The answer is NO.

Guess I really knew that before I asked, but it is really hard to shoot all the traffic to hell short term. Just FUCK!

I saw my keywork placement drop. Started checking links and went WTF! Now how long will it take to recover?

Fuck, Fuck, Fuck, Fuck + all the backlinks as they have a toplist on every page!

If it's going through your script don't worry about it

How long does a pr0 google ban last ? Do they give Second Chances to spam them ?

pussyluver 03-28-2004 12:20 PM

Use AWG:

sample:

a href="/cgi-bin/awgtrade/out.cgi?send=XXXX.com" target="_blank">XXXX TGP /a>

so the url still shows. Question is how does google read this?

You can recover from dumb moves, I have. But I was never banned. Seems like it takes for ever.

Just checked a site that I know got the royal boot from Google. I won't name them, but you know of them. They have recovered from a PR0. I'm guessing it was about three to four months. That is a big guess. I checked on them for a couple months and then gave up as I didn't see them move from PR0. Plus who knows what went on and what they did to get there or what they did to undo it?????

Hmm if you get tons of traffic and you can take them in as bookmarks it might be worth it.

Ive got a site that got fucked by google. At the time it wasnt even listed in the top 1000 for my keyword. I played around with it and its now up to around 50th. Not great, but at least I get some traffic from it. Does this mean Im back in google's good graces and maybe over time I will get my rightful pr ?

Takes time, LUCK and study. It's been up and down for me and totally amazed at the crap google puts ahead of me.

The more backlinks from high PRs the better. This seems to be very key to PR. But may not be key to keyword placements. At PR4 and thousnads of backlinks, I have PR1s with few backlinks on my main keywords/phrases ahead of me.

Dumb luck may be the biggest single factor. Trying to do it with out relying on google, but....

The other thing that really pisses me off is the top listers often go for exit page hell!!! That makes the surfer fearful of clicking on me.

Does anyone really think that 15 exit pages that are looped with dialers and farm aniamals is really going to work? The surfer has to close IE to escape.

Need to know! Assume google reads and counts this. Either way, better safe than sorry.
