Need icq help
 

I only use icq to talk to other webmasters. As you might know there are tons of people looking for chat buddies all day long and they keep on bugging me. Most of the time non english speaking idiots from Turkey, indonesia etc. And ofcourse also the daily spam bots.

So i was about to put in my settings i have to authorize new people first before they can talk to me me but lately the spam bot programs got smarter and ask you to authorize them. This happens to me every day, with different names. So the authorize thing is pretty useless now since i wouldnt know if its a webmaster or a bot adding me.

So now my question is what can i do to get rid of all this shit? Its getting ridiculous.

you can't stop people/bots asking for authorization . . . but to be honest, I don't recall too many bots requesting authorization. . . just a few surfers that thought I was someone else

I have up to 5 bots a day doing that, almost every day. And its getting worse.
