What is so great about pain pills
My ex wife has a thing for pain pills never could figure out why she likes them so much but in the last 5 years she lost custody of all of her childred including my daughter went to prison for a year. She has only be able to visit with my daughter when one of the older girls went or she was staying with someone trusted up untill yesterday. She seemed to be doing good so I finally agreed to let her take my daughter over night (first time in 4 years) 3 am in the morning I get a call and have to get my daughter from the police station 60 miles away because my ex popped a bunch of pills and got a DUI and wonton endangerment charge and went to jail.
If people want to do that why cant they just stay home where no one will get hurt. |

Stupid question.
What is so good about getting dead-drunk, falling on the floor and sleeping in your own vomit ? Could it be addiction ? Duh. |

I'm sorry for your wife's intolerable behavior - But please, no need to personally assault pain pills for preying on the vulnerable. Pain relievers, in this particular case - 'pills', are an amazing sedative providing euphoria during various casual and social events - Alleviating the same problems, some would associate and relieve with casual alcohol usage. If no problems are to be resolved, nor (mental or physical) pain to be relieve - At the least, they provide a very relaxing slumber. :eyecrazy

Don't know. They make my head cloudy and one makes me feel like I'm wasted and I can't sit without the world spinning - but I have back issues from a car accident. My roommate would kill for pills and I don't see why, they don't make me feel good at all, but do get rid of the pain. I try to not take them unless I absolutely have to.
