Just in case you are in any doubt I can assure you that what you received is not a genuine court document - I know what a Supreme Court Statement of Claim looks like - I've seen hundreds if not thousands of them and that ain't one of them.

The signature is bogus too - there is no Australian barrister currently practising who holds those military decorations. In fact I'm not even sure that anyone could hold those two military decorations - afaik it's a case of one or the other - but I'm a bit fuzzy there - it's been a long time since military and service decorations were of interest to me.

There is also no barrister currently practising law in NSW who has a knighthood.

However, you might have an action against Intergrated for attempted fraud. If he did post that letter to you it would be easy to make a case that he was attempting to obtain money by false pretences.

Intergrated FYI - I have 20 years experience with a NSW law enforcement agency whose main task was the service and execution of court process. I have dealt on a face to face and one to one basis with people who would make you piss your pants if they just looked at you and I have service medals and commendations as trinkets and momentos of those 20 years.

I have also served in the Australian Armed Forces.
