Whats a good monitor that doesn't hurt your eyes?

I got a 19" monitor and I swear it feels like my eyes are burning when i look at this for long hours.
are there any monitors that dont hurt youreyes, but aren't way too expensive to buy?

That's low, try something higher.

Use a LCD, they don't flicker at all.

I dont know. it's just a basic cheap monitor, not a flat screen.

Yeah I bought my first LCD to cut down on my headaches myself. Thats my suggestion although maybe not what you want to hear. Crt's are hardcore on the eyes.

LCD is the only way to go... I have a 21" Sony CRT, and it hurts my eyes after a while. I can work on my laptop forever and nothing bothers me.
