Do you HAVE to run a non-profit organization?

Can you somehow run a for-profit business off a .ORG site without running into problems with the domain?

No rules with .org domains.
They can be used the same as .com and .net.

better get an average .com then a better then average .org

or go to other extensions like .nu and get a kickass name :2 cents:

You need X bucks to register it.

Rule #2:
You must not chargeback.

The special rules for .ORG were always implied, not official.

Nope. They used to be reserved for non-profit organizations, just like the .net domains were reserved for networks, but in recent years people have been using those domains for whatever.

snakesworld doesn't list .org domains, that's the only rule I know
