windows media plug-in not working anymore :(
 

this week, my windows media plug-in for both netscape 7.1 and IE 6 aren't working.

no new software installs or anything else that's changed. when i right click the "download" file in a .wmv movie and "save link as" in IE 5i get "viewer.htm" as the file instead of the .wmv file.

any thoughts?

running windows xp pro with all the updates.

could be a corrupted installation. Can you rollback?
