BMW's cost way more than $15K. The cheapest one is about $40K (canadian) and thats standard with 4 doors. Or are you looking for a used one

JFK 03-26-2004 11:35 AM

Mustangs seem to be reasonable for the money :2 cents:

I'm sure you will be able to find a 1996 m3 for about 14k

danevans 03-26-2004 11:44 AM

You could also get a VW Corrado SLC (vr6 engine),
not expensive and still good looking and good performance.
Or more expensive - used Audi S4.

Gabriel 03-26-2004 11:55 AM

Why you worrying about sports cars? You need a small suv or mini van.

I got a stang in 2000 and still have it with 94K miles on it...still has original brakes, clutch, and spark plugs and stuff. It still run well too! I recommend the Mustang for the price range.

What is that, a 99 or 2000? I had a 2000. Just wasn't the same. Especially if it is not a convertible.

when I said eww mustangs as for chicks...

I don't like the 2000's and GT's Sooo many people drive them 1 out of 5 people I would said and seems they are girl cars.

I can see if a Stang had 400+ HP with a nice system yeah Guy car.

My opinion was directed towards stock stangs.

init 03-26-2004 01:09 PM

mines stock, doesn't have that much horses but then again i don't need that much and has a banging system, people hear me for quite some time before i get there :)

cluck 03-26-2004 01:13 PM

You can get a 2nd generation eclipse spyder with turbo for under $15k. The third generation ruined the eclipse name though. It's a bitch car now. Still, everyone remembers how badass they thought the 2nd generation GSX was. It was THE car to beat for quite some time.

I have a red eclipse and I can say one thing. Other dudes have mustangs, camaros, etc. They may be faster stock but the bitches love the eclipse. It's a sexy car. Pure sex.

dunefield 03-26-2004 01:18 PM

Why not get a Skyline R-34 or something like that... Plus you can work em up to be really fast...

CheeseFrog 03-26-2004 01:19 PM

Integra Type-R if you don't mind having a thief magnet. Or an LS1 F-Body...

My t-tops don't leak, and my Camaro is old.

As for squeaks --> Sub frame connectors. By far one of the best modifications you can do to the unibody F-body chassis

Eclipse is American, just made by a japanese company.

Anyway if you don't like imports go with a chevy. The only good thing ford makes is the mustang, and that's gone to hell too.
