I don't do any sales with the ARS4Real program. I use their PPclick engine and I'm ranked number 4:thumbsup Did a few thousand sales back in the days pre-ARS4Real. Marc D's program will always be my number one!

correct... that is per week. But still:helpme

digifan 03-26-2004 06:10 AM

Ouch.. this sucks.

slapass 03-26-2004 07:01 AM

I have got you beat - #41 with $100 in sales.

The wild thing is the content looks good and the sites seem to convert. It is probably just the change that is keeping people away.

KRL 03-26-2004 07:21 AM

LOL, testing them out. Nothing to write home about compared to the old ARS.

savas 03-26-2004 07:25 AM

i am posting some galleries, that promote ars4real sites.

riosluts 03-26-2004 07:25 AM

holy that must really suck. making $86 and already being in the top 100. I remember with the old ARS, whenever I got like 3 sales ($105) i would be like in the top 500, never top 100

TheSenator 03-26-2004 07:29 AM

they don't convert well for me...I gave them a two week trial period with AVS traffic.

Miguelmateos 03-26-2004 07:39 AM

the new ars4 is nothing like the old ars , maybe someday they will be a good money making sponsor again but not anymore not for me

arg 03-26-2004 07:41 AM

I'm at 8 sales for the week, and ranked #5. On Monday, I got five sales, and at that point was ranked #2. (I think they rank by signups rather than revenue...I send PPS so that's $200 for the week, $125 for Monday).

It's sure not the old ARS, but I think the sites will get better over time, as they continue adding more exclusive content, and add more types of sites. They just announced an ebony site is coming soon. One attraction of popular reality sites is they've been around a year or two, so there are a ton of episodes on the tours. ARS4Real doesn't have that many right now, because the sites don't have much content yet, but if the program lasts for a year or so, adding a new episode per week per site, the sites will be packed. Hopefully ARS or their 4Real partner budgeted for some slow sales until they get up to speed.

Miguelmateos 03-26-2004 07:55 AM

Lucky for ARS they have made alot of money in the last 6 years so they might be able to pull out of this slump there in, but I doubt they will ever be what they once where, they hurt alot of webmasters income by closing the doors on them, and literally forcing them to change sponsors , and they did it with almost no time for people to change sponsors. Some webmasters have or had 1000's of sites galleries and designs that go with the old ars , so it will be allmost impossible to get all thouse hard working webmasters ever to come back and promote ars again,

savas 03-26-2004 08:09 AM

i think that time for ars i only coming.
look on ars champ. that will be like ars byots.
so many sites will thay have to promote in one month.

Ambergirl 03-26-2004 08:27 AM

We realize that this transition from the GIM sites to the 4Real sites wasn't as smooth as it could have been. But we are confident that the changes will set a good foundation for longevity for our webmasters and also for the industry. Cookie cutter sites, high priced sites with high priced cross-sells is not the wave of the future. Quality sites with exclusive content is what surfers want to receive, it's what's converting the best on initial sign ups, and without question it's what retains members the longest.

IMO and an inside tip, you would do very well to put some links up for ars4real sites 60% revenue share program because the retention percentages are far surpassing every expectation. With our revshare option, you earn $3 for every trial, and then $18 EVERY REBILL for the life of the membership. In addition, you also earn revenue share from cross sells on the join page. You receive $.60 on each initial cross sell opt-in, and $12 ON EVERY REBILL for the life of the membership too. Your income potential is huge with the 4real revenue share program. Also, unlike many programs, you are NOT charged for any hidden fees such as Refunds, Chargebacks, or Processing Fees. And initial signups under the revshare model still earn 10 ARS rewards points, and you still maintain TOTAL control of your consoles and exit traffic.

We are an extremely honest up-front company that has always put our webmasters first. If you are not performing as well as you feel you should be, please contact your ARS support rep, or any one of the following webmaster support team, we're here 24/7 to assist you:
Dave M - [email protected], icq is 190377789
Woody S - [email protected], icq is 277379840
Amber C - [email protected], icq is 162888717

And I have to mention www.arschamps.com - I won't go into a big dissertation about how awesome it is, but you should check that out too; you can create your own membership sites right now. And on April 1st, you'll be able to promote every CHAMPS site and have other webmasters promote your sites too.

4 Real has been out for over a month now I think.

I am doing pretty well with it.

I am friends with one of the content producers that is making the next 4 Real site, it's very hot. No real whacky theme thank god, just good down home Black on Black hardcore.

B40 03-26-2004 09:01 AM

If you read the ARS boards, some people are posting their ratios, to give you an idea of how the site are converting :2 cents:

Trax 03-26-2004 09:12 AM

moving off GIM pretty much killed ARS
lets see if the 4real thing will change from what it is right now

Trax 03-26-2004 09:15 AM

got a link to the ars board for me b40?

mardigras 03-26-2004 09:31 AM

One thing I can say for ARS4real, I wish every sponsor had that good of a promo and marketing area:)

Battuss, we released the program over a month ago...but the sites have been live prior to the release of course.

Trax, our webmaster board is here:

Login with your webmaster id # and password.

Or you can get to the board via www.arsri.com too.

Are you gonna send your own traffic to the champ site listing?

If so any idea how much?

Thanks man and I'm glad your doing pretty well with 4Real now. We have more sites on the way (as you mentioned) and CHAMPS opening on 4/1 which should help fill many of niches left void during the transition from the old ARS to the new.

A whole bunch of us will be in Phoenix (Toolz, Becky, Scott & Tony from Traffic Dude, me and a few others), hope to see some of you there.

thanks
sad i only saw neg. comments concerning ratios and retention :(

Giorgio_Xo 03-26-2004 10:37 AM

I feel for ARS in the transition. Most large projects are field and beta tested a long time before the release to the general webmaster public. It wasn't the case this tme.

I have gone inside all their sites and the content and layout is very good.

ARS needs to tweak, fine-tune, add additional tours, generate more marketing material, and buy some well-placed gallery spots to generate some buzz.

Thanks. :)
