Has less to do with money than adaptability, learning new things, trying new technologies and being in front. Do that well, money can take care of itself. Put money first, you find yourself behind the times and losing that money fast.

Some make $1,000 a week and think they are major players who can teach the world. Otheres make $10,000 a week and are still learning. It's down to the individual.

I think it's down to how long you can survive, not how much money you make. Some of those telling me how it should be done when I first came to sell on the Interent are now gone, probably flipping burgers in MacDees.

You can be a GURU without making big money.
But a better answer to your question would be, it depends where you live. A guy asked a similar question yesterday. He made $600 in his first month. If he is in Russia, that is a lot, if he is in the US it is not.

a million

A truly wise person knows that he/she still has a lot to learn.

Money makes you a "playa"... not a guru. A guru is made by knowledge, leadership... willingness to teach and learn at the same time.

A guru is not a guru unless he/she has those who seek their teachings/counselling/wisedom.

If a millionaire is rude and annoying and no one cares for them, then they have no one to teach and can not be considered a guru.

I disagree - the net has no boundaries that?s the point - A site here costs the same to join as a site in Russia so web income should be constant - I understand that the word GURU equates to knowledge but I am interested in what people consider a healthy net income - cmon spill the beans WHAT YA MAKING ;-)

Posting that pic in every post of yours is getting pretty fucking tired, I know I'm getting sick of looking at it.

A Guru is someone who convinces people to pay for advice that everyone else gives away free.

The net has no boundaries, but he's right. Making $600 a month in certain countries is huge dollars, where as making that in the US is beer money. No sense disagreeing with what is fact.

"WHAT YA MAKING ;-)"

I thought the question was "what makes someone a guru?"

So this is a "how much money do you make" thread then?

Steve 03-26-2004 02:06 AM

anyone who calls themselves a "guru" is usually full of shit

If you want to make more money, a good piece of advice would be to listen to what is said. You have been told at about the picture a few times and do not listen. So why are we wasiting out time with you?

Mr. Marks 03-26-2004 02:10 AM

You can be a guru even without earning much. But earning would ne better, right?!!:Graucho
