In search of movie splitter w/ thumbnailing capabilities... any suggestions?

I'm looking for program for MAC that will take a full movie and chop it into clips (length of clips specified by user), and then make thumbnails (mini screencaps) for each clip... does such a program exist? Batch processing of multiple files would be great too.

Thanks in advance,

Vic

This program will split them into smaller pieces, but I'm not sure if it will make stills

Hi. I'm the lead developer on a piece [ -es] of software that do just what you ask. We've been working on it for a bit and now have some pretty great sponsors on board processing their content with us for promotional tools like sponsor hosted galleries.

We chose to create the software in linux... which makes it very well suited for server-side deployments (think constant batch) and to clustered environments.

The technology is pretty cool and I'd enjoy talking with anyone about it. Hit me up on ICQ @ 5327381 if you have questions.

That sounds great, but I'd really need it for a Mac. Well, I'll ICQ you anyway.

Damn search function is disabled. I was going to tell you there's a thread about this ... grabit, or snatchit or something like that. Works well with most formats.
