Where is it possible to hire people who KNOW what they are doing.

Account managers, gallery submitters, gallery builders, coders etc.

Its impossible to do it all....where is it possible to hire people who KNOW what they are doing and will do it right the first time!?

Oracle Porn 03-25-2004 08:27 PM

Hiring people who can do everything right can be a tough job. Good luck in your search for the right people.

McDonalds is a good start.. most of the time they get the orders right.. It's also almost as cheap as offshore labor.

People who know what they are doing can make more by themselves. Most of you guys all want to pay $2000 a month for a skilled veteran working full time.

nastyking 03-25-2004 08:56 PM

you should hire a corrector ...

detoxed 03-25-2004 08:58 PM

Do a trial period, thats really the only way

If you got the money to pay people what they deserve then you wont have a problem finding good people.

you get what you pay for.

when i hear the words "we can get it done cheaper from [insert 3 world country] i know im dealing with an asshole operation thats full of shit.

In this business alot of the people with their shit together work for themselves. From the stories I have heard I cant blame them, it seems that most of the people that own the big programs are megalomaniacs.

Yeah that's true, 9 times outta 10 you get what you pay for... good labor's out there, but they're the one's who have work and usually aren't begging for it...but I'm sure they're always looking for more. :thumbsup

it all depends on who you are working with, guess Microsoft, IBM, Intel or Oracle don't share that opinion, but what do they know? :glugglug

Now about the topic, I've found the right people, and believe me, neither me nor anyone else who found the right people for themselves will share the discovery :Graucho

I've been searching for the answer to that question since my first day in business.

I was lucky to be born with the kind of mind that can figure out how to do just about anything. It's always killed me having to explain how to do things to people who I hired based on the fact they told me they knew how to do it.

I think most resumes are full of bs too now.

Sly_RJ 03-25-2004 10:38 PM

What pisses me off the most is training someone only to have them flake.

Or, when it takes someone else 2 hours to do something that takes me 15 minutes. What the fuck? Last night I was showing a friend how to select and resize pictures for a free site. Only 20 pictures. This shouldn't take more than 10-20 minutes MAX, right? He spent an hour on it. AN HOUR!

Another thing that drives me crazy is when you give someone an opportunity, an opportunity that I would have LOVED to have, and they either turn it down or totally flake out.

By the way, am I the only one here who's worked for someone for free in exchange for knowledge and experience? I hope not!

I am currently in Milwaukee Wisconsin, Haven't Paid in 1.5 Months... (for ungodly known reasons) I know exactly what im doing - which is Leaving my Job!!! Also I painfully am starting to realize, you either have to have a CJ Massive Fake Traffic site with Dialers, or a Huge TGP to make money. Is this true? Has anyone actually made money on a not-So-Large TGP? or a Dialer-Less CJ Site?

I've talked with my good buddy from AmateurCurves.com and he's gotta Freeking BEautiful TGP Going on - he makes a damn good living on it - but Does it have to be up to 1Mill Plus to make a good living?

Please comment...
