just wondering, this is all hypothetical...

let's say a friend was owed a lot of money by a processor, to make thigns easier, we'll give the processor a name.. oh idk, lets say verotel... so 'verotel' owes a friend lots of money, and for no reason at all, it's not being paid to him... if that friend made extremely serious threats to have the place shot up, could legal action be taken against the friend even though the processor is in another country?

If it's a sizeable ammount of money .. Simply contact a lawyer in the same country as this processor. Have the lawyer send a demand of payment letter. This may or may not work, and won't cost very much money. If they owe you quite a bit, and still refuse to pay, you can decide if it's worth going forward from there.

If it's just a few hundred dollars you're talking about, "shooting the place up" is a little extreme, don't you think?

Hypothetically speaking, yes, you 'friend' would be in a world of trouble that 's/he' wouldn't want. The Dutch and the American law enforcment groups have gotten pretty tight lately
