Programs that charge "check processing fees" ?
I just got a check for barely $50 bucks and noticed there is like a $5 processing fee.
I know it sounds lame to bitch about a couple bucks, but looking at past check stubs there are a few companies that seem to charge anywhere between $3 to almost $7 "check processing fees." Is this normal? I understand paying for postage fees, etc, but getting charged almost $7 to process a check for barely over $50 is a bit much don't you think? I thought some companies had accountant s they paid to do these things? Send out checks that is. For five bucks a pop to process a check that sure is a nice chunk of change from affiliates pockets per check, couple times a month. Unless, of course, there is some expense explanation I am missing? Hell, paypal fees were never even THAT much. |
