I have to wait until monday to have them pulled

oh yeah - Tootache is usually accompanied by headache also
so it's doube bad

hova 03-25-2004 03:39 AM

I am allmost used to toothache since I have that a lot, but I hate headache the most.
When I have a headache I can't do shit, not work or relax with a book or a movie.

Mutt 03-25-2004 04:52 AM

i posted the question because i was beginning to get a toothache, seems to have gone away tho :)

a really bad toothache is the worst prolonged paid i have experienced - it lasted about 3 days before i realized it wasn't going to go away on its own. I've had headaches almost as bad where i've vomited and it last a full day but i can remember 2 or 3 toothaches that were worthy of committing suicide over.

that's why i get sick when I hear somebody has intractable pain from cancer or people who are bedridden with back pain. I can't imagine being in pain that even drugs can't help.

stomach aches... I get them a lot, when a wake up and drink something cold. Or when I eat something, and do a lot of movements.

Spudman 03-25-2004 05:18 AM

toothache is the worst. you cant eat, it gives you a headache and you generally feel like dying.

bhutocracy 03-25-2004 06:14 AM

i've got an ache right in the nuts... other than that it's head and back ache that sucks.

markell 03-25-2004 06:17 AM

a filling fell out, i said fuck it and went on without it, months later it got infected, needed root canal.. pain was so bad i went into shock and almost died :(

Firehorse 03-25-2004 06:21 AM

Toothaches are really unbearable. You can't eat, get hungry, have a stomach ache, then eventually have a headache.

modelgigtalent 03-26-2004 01:35 AM

Toothaches, because they also give you a headache and they SUCK!

twistyneck 03-26-2004 01:38 AM

You haven't lived until you've had a kidney stone. :thumbsup

jact 03-26-2004 01:39 AM

I've been living with a degenerative muscle disease in my lower back for just about 7 years now, I was crippled for the first year+ and I've come to terms with it at this point, but I'll finish my years on this green earth in a wheelchair, very, very crippled.

So, back pain has to be the worst, of anything. I lived with an absessed wisdom tooth for 4 months, it wasn't much to deal with compared to the back pain.

pimplink 03-26-2004 01:42 AM

toothache! it really mess
up my days when I have a toothache.

Stewie 03-26-2004 01:44 AM

1)stomach ache : Gall stone attacks are incredibly fucking painful, and there is nothing you can do to stop them. My longest attack was over 16 hours long. Went though it for over 11 months, due to an incorrect diagnosis by my doctor.

4)back ache: Herniated disc, lower back, sciatic nerve and radiating pain through my legs. Could not drive or sit for more than 20 mins at a time, or pick up my son. Physical therapy and spinal injections did nothing, and the orthopedic surgeon was afraid removing the disc could impair walking. A good chiropractor and an inversion table are the only things that helped the pain, and gave me my life back.

kowntafit 03-26-2004 02:01 AM

Definately head aches. Stomach aches really suck too though.
I think it depends what you get most often.

johnbosh 03-26-2004 02:01 AM

headache

Mutt 03-26-2004 02:13 AM

i was going to put kidney stone pain in but most people on GFY are young and unlikely to have had it - and usually it's a once in a lifetime thing, though some people get them recurringly.

they say kidney stone pain is the male equivalent of labor pains for women. i believe it - i found my Dad on the floor of his bedroom moaning like a dying animal, i thought he was dying of a heart attack or something - was a kidney stone attack. He only had them once.

backache seems to be the most chronic debilitating pain of them all - i've heard of a fair number of people who are literally bed ridden for months, years even. People with really bad migraines sometimes have to spend days in a dark room. But there are new meds for migraine sufferers, many people have relief.
