Reducing scar tissue on piercings?

I've got my nips pierced, have had em for about 4 years now....

About 3 years ago, I almost ripped one out, when it got caught on someone elses jewelry... =/

So, now one side of my nipple is a bit puffier than the other, and I can feel the scar tissue underneath the skin...

Is there anything like those scar creams, that will work on this in the least bit?

Ya, I'm a vain pussy.

I dont think there's anything that will help sub-dermally. I had my eyebrow piercing ripped out, and there is still scar tissue under the skin -- no hair will grow there.

If its the puffiness you're worried about - get some nipple shields - no one will ever notice :winkwink:

rip that part gently, if it bleeds, hold your breath... then disinfect it, and use all the shit that u have to use when u pierce them at the first time: vaseline, salt water, keep in moistured for a couple of days, etc

I took my nipple piercings out about 2 years ago... I have 2 nice round scars on each nipple now to show for it. =/ I thought it was a good idea at the time, but nowadays I wih I hadn't done it. I should have known I'd outgrow it.

but anyways, regarding your question, I'll be watching for an answer, too.

I did professional body modification (piercing) for a year and a half. Unfortunately the only way to get rid of scaring is with some expensive plastic surgery. Cutting it, poking at it, whatever will just make it worse.

I'm not sure. You better see a doctor or something, that might puff out really big.

Cut your nipples off with a dull knife

I had an eyebrow piercing for a few years and it eventually got ripped out, that and the fact that I had a huge spikey thing on it. It left a little red line and was abit hard for a while but it's gone now. Just give it time. Nipples are pink anyway so the colour wont be a problem, as for being tougher, nipples are a bit firmer anyway, so it shouldn't be a prob.

Go see a doctor to clear things up.

Yeah thats the exact same thing that happened to me...probably the single most inconvenient piercing I've ever had. I swear I'd catch it every single time I put on a shirt, which hurt like a bitch -- but ironically it ripped out in my sleep and I didn't even feel a thing :1orglaugh
