when I first starting playing years ago these books were around. didn't help me one bit. Only thing that helped me was losing my ass every night at Commence casino in Los Angeles.

It's not supposed to be a book to read when one first starts. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to defend anyone. Why do you think it's so bad?

I actually considered writing something for playing poker online. I love the idea of teaching people how to win but so far everyone has been stubborn as shit. It's annoying.

It takes something that has a difficulty of 3 and makes it a 100. I could give someone specific instructions right now that would make them win consistently. Or I could give someone who's been playing that book and tell them to follow it to the letter and they'd go broke.

Of course. I've never read book one and been kicking ass. I was looking forward to reading a well thought out book on the game and maybe picking up a few more pointers, not gonna happen.

You would sell 100,000 copies easy if you did like a 120 page book on Online Poker.



Too bad I'm only good in math. If I could write I would have 4-5 books out about my poker adventures, online and off. I had a great life so far and i just want to thank Sklansky for making this all possible.....not

If you can't get $30 worth of helpful info out of that book, then you have the problem not them.

That book along with Brunson's Super System are the two that I recommend to people.

If you're so confident that those books are crap and you can do better, why don't you write one?

With the 500 poker books available I assumed I didn't need to. :1orglaugh
