how do i get ride of this shit (trojan/virus)
 

i got some shit here and everytime i load ie it changes my bookmarks and homepages... im going to format my computer :sadcrying

I just had the same problem.
Run Ad-aware if you have it first. Gets rid of the spyware.
If that dont work, try the following (this is what Dell had me do)

Go to Start>Run>, type in 'msconfig', under the 'General' tab, look for 'Selective Startup', and uncheck 'Load Startup Items', then click OK.
That worked for me :thumbsup

Either that try system restore before you re-format your harddrive!

Actually, Search and Destroy is A LOT better of an Adware finder/remover. I have it and all my problems have gone bye bye! :thumbsup

what is it setting the homepage as? there has been a few nasty one's I've come across latly.. but maybe if you're lucky there is a removal tool listed at the home page

try CWShredder:

Go to antivirus.com and do a free online scan. THen get SPYBOT and scan your whole system, and then get Adware and scan again. After this you should be fine

Get a trojan scanner.
