POPUP CODE to beat POPUP BLOCKERS

<center><br><br><a href="http://216.130.172.224/popup1.html">HERE IS THE POPUP CODE</a>

<br>

<a href="http://216.130.172.224/popup2.html">HERE IS THE EXIT CODE</a></center>

People keep asking me to explain how to do certain things with it, so instead of answering individually you can post questions or problems in this thread and i will try to fix them..

Those with browsers with less than 2% user rate need not reply with how elite your browser is because it didnt work for you. Just move on to the next thread, your comments aren't even worth the :2 cents: .. Heard it before.

thanx for letting me know.. Do any popups get through for you ??

What about applet windows ??

So far firefox isn't much of a threat yet. Looks nice, but a very small piece of the browser pie on my visitors anyways..

Kamilla36D 03-24-2004 02:02 AM

I got all popups - I'm on IE and xp

Thanks for the code :thumbsup

VeriSexy 03-24-2004 02:03 AM

Cool code, thanks :thumbsup

The Sex Pusher 03-24-2004 02:06 AM

p.s. dont use both codes on the same page.. if you do want to just do this.

Add the exit code to the main page..

<b>then add an i<b>frame tag width=1 height=1 on the main page going to an empty html file.. , add the popup code onto the blank html page thats loaded in the i<b>frame. this way the codes wont conflict.

see first post.. I said those with 2% not 10% , if your browser doesn't get a popup im all ears.. as long as its over 2%

Netscape doesnt have as good integration with other popup blockers and is reliant on what is contained within. thus to get those users you simply detect browser before they access the page and fluff off the netscape users to a popup hell..

salo18 03-24-2004 02:14 AM

The exit popup gets blocked by Avant Browser but the enter popup works.

hmm im wondering what exact version ??

I have 3 test machines sitting before my very eyes with the same config as you just stated all with fresh install's of the googlebar and they both work on all of them..

Or are you just making this up..

google and yahoo bar both dont block it, and they are the most popular. I'm not sure what special version your running but i have the latest right here and they work..

i call bullshit on your post.

Gasper 03-24-2004 04:06 AM

good stuff dude .. the pop-up isn't blocked by my software (nor with google's toolbar popupblocker), but the pop-under is blocked.

irishfury 03-24-2004 04:14 AM

Thanks for the code :thumbsup

brothenberg 03-24-2004 06:28 AM

Sorry but this would only be valid if someone test it on the new XP SR2, as IE has finally been updated.

And I agree with the posted, if your on Firefox or other "advanced" browser, of course its not getting through, but most of the people in the world still use IE even though its crap.

Apple users will no longer be using IE as Apple stopped development on it. But thats a small market anyways.

Jedimaster 03-24-2004 06:57 AM

I look at these attempts to defeat popup blockers the same as defeating mail filters by using munged words like pen1s or adding gibberish code.

The sales you make are most certainly sales you would have gotten anyway. AFAIK there are no stats to show sales coming from a popup blocker defeating ad from surfers using a popup blocker. There certainly aren't any stats showing that a surfer who has "penis pills" blocked in his e-mail is buying "pen1s p1llz" or v1@gr@. Defeating their conscience choices only brings more negative on the industry.

If someone is intentionally blocking popup ads they are likely to be more annoyed at the fact that the software failed than look at your ad, you need to make the sale to them on a static page.:2 cents:

U think about it to much ( or at least write about it too much :) )

What does the surfer expect me to pay for his pictures pay for his videos pay for the webspace and do all of this for free ??

The best way is give the surfer a choice..

Say look i cant afford to give away free porn. But i do have some..

CLick HERE for 500 awesome hot babes no popups no dialers no crap..

or

Click here for 80000 free hot babes with accasional popups and ads.

gues what one would get dusty very quick

EVEN easier solution... USE A DISCLAIMER..

Dear surfer we count on the revenue made on this site freeloaders are more than welcome but attempts to bypass the code on our site may result in further code to be displayed. We suggest turning off your popup blockers..

When someone hits a popup on a page they shouldnt have i know its a popupblocker software and send them on a loop. If they are trying to cheat by all means..

Or do what i do most often..

TIMED popups.. One every 15 minutes.. Your pass right thrugh and leave guy gets a popup script when he leaves. The people who stay longer than15 minutes have the exit code turned off. and if they stay awhile and drain your bandwidth , you set it for every 5 minutes..

no you dont even need to do that. It wont pop the exit code unless the window itself is closed. So if they continue through the site it wont popup.
