Who here can produce all their documents?

More and more clients are asking for 2257 documents, however at the moment few are very interested in getting the license physically signed by us for their records.

Forget about 2257, it is rarely acted upon for the Internet. But what about Visa and Mastercard?

We know Perfect 10 are currently persuing Visa for contributing to the piracy of their images by clearing payments and we know Visa are dedicated to cleaning up this industry.

So if Visa decided that 3rd party processors had to do spot checks all their adult clients, by picking 10 sets or videos to verify their legality and license, who could supply that info?

If it ever happened and you suddenly started chasing content providers, think about how many you bought one set from, have gone out of business or brokers who do not have the info themselves and start having to ask their suppliers.

Could be a very big SHITE sandwich. Not likely to happen, but shit happens.

So many got out of business so I guess only the guys that ordered custom (and of course got the 2257 with it) are safe.

We do ship the 2257 info with each order but I guess this wasn't done in the past... FocusAdult DID include the 2257 info for all the content when they did the blow out though :thumbsup

You're right Kraz a lot here might be in big trouble.

First thing we do when we get ALL new content is put it into detailed folders by date and from who we purchased. All 2257 info goes into each folder containing any image or video of any given model. We also have a list of content suppliers and when we get content that includes a new model we add their info to the client list for quick searching. Most of our content retains the original file names as supplied by the producer, so a quick right-click on the content then a search for that name/number in our system provides the info very quickly and orderly!

If you start this kind of system in the beginning it's very easy to stick with!

Newbreed you sound like a guy who has it organised.

Orginization is key. Half of that original idea was when we bought a shitload of content the first few times we got confused quickly and just wanted to get it done! . Then reality sunk in (plus a lot of AaronM's 2257 threads) and before we actually started uploading files we started from scratch, day one.

Another interesting note...

My log files show a search term of "lv 2257 record holder", so i know someone is already checking up on us!

I sold to magazines for 20+ years. Some of them insist on ALL documentation with a set you are only submitting for approval. Trust me 50% of the content suppliers documentation would never get passed magazines scrutiny.

For instance they require two national IDs, one of the IDs HAS to be a passport, because it contains a signature which has to match the model release signature. I remember years ago having an argument with Dave at Adult Legal, he was arguing that the signature not matching was irrelevant. The girl looked 14 and the passport looked fake. :(

Plus if the girl get's married she has two have both IDs in her married name.

The first thing they will check is the IDs and documents, if they are not there some will return the set not looked at. Score and Hustler were very hot on it.

a model showed up last week with a bad scan of a drivers license and a state fishing and hunting license - so Brian said 'no go' and told her to come back - the agent freaked out and said that the ID she had was good enough for other shooters the girl was sent to.

it's all a crapshoot, unless you can hook into a state or national database you can never know if you're being given fake ID's.
that's how this last brouhaha with the underage model in L.A. happened - she had excellent fake ID. nothing can be done about that.
