i agree some of megadeths members were/are more tallented musicans individually (ie jimmy degrasso vs lars ulrich, not even in the same league, and im a big lars fan) but as a group metallica were far superior. no contest.

Jimmy DeGrasso puts Lars to shame. I think that Megadeth is much better than Metallica, they just never got the publicity that Metallica got. Either way, you gotta respect a guy that got kicked out of Metallica for being too fucking crazy.

I agree, he sounds too piss weak. James' voice has some balls. Metallica kick the shit out of Megadeath in my opinion. Even if Megadeath have skill, they don't have anywhere near the same level of style.

Dream Theater is good, but there are way better metal bands than Dream Theater and Metallica. Like White Zombie, Pantera, Motorhead, Anthrax, and of course Megadeth. :2 cents:

Metallica puts on the best concert hands down...there is a reason more people have gone to see them than anyone else in the last 10 years...also they play mostly old metallica in concert and many would agree that old metallica is the best music ever made. By the way I'm going to see them tomorrow in Calgary, guess they kicked ass in Edmonton last night...played "jump in the fire" live for the first time in 20 years!

I want to see a Metallica concert. When they come to Toronto, I will! The reason they play mostly old stuff, is because they get booed when they do new stuff.

God i hate dream theater. there i said it. other than that, hell yea pantera! megadeth lost me at countdown to extinction. Rust in peace still gets regular play. Metallica lost me at load. Justice for all and back still get regular listenings. some of these people dont know when to quit.
