Most people seem to think that being labelled as Jewish is a reference to their race. It's a Religion, not a race.

You've already answered it but I'll confirm.....It is a religion.

It's a religion, but most people confuse it to be a race because Jewish seldom marry people form a different religion. They also have a certain physical trait that looks "Jewish"

It is an ethnicity/race which has its basis a religion. Some people from other ethnic groups also choose to follow the religion practiced by these people, and can not be accurately described as being Jewish, but rather followers of Judaism. Traits of this ethnicity typically consist of dark hair, dark eyes, and sometimes a larger (or differently shaped nose - closer to that of an Arb) than many European ethnicities.

I think being a jew, it connects with religion.

It's a religion and a nation of people. Jews are divided into several large ethnic groups: Ashkenazi, Sephardi and Oriental. Most American Jews are Ashkenazi.
