The following sentence is true. The previous sentence is false. True or false?
Well?
Brain me. |
Its false because you would go through the sentence assigning the value to the sentence
The following sentence is true (sentence=true) The previous sentence is false (sentence=false) Discuss? |
Classic paradox.
You can wrangle with the logic for hours and never reach an absolute conclusion. |
A is T
T is F There is not truth in a lie There are no lies in Truth |
they cancel each other out
|
actually, its doable with math. now i suck at it and its too early, but look into techniques of proof, and math rules such as,modus ponens, negation of supposition, rule of contradiction and i think u can come out with a solution...

It's false because the second sentence made the first statement invalid already. Get it?

I can look at lines and lines of complicated code and make perfect sense of them. Your 2 statements followed by that question up there made everything immediately stop. :) Good one. |

This one IS a true paradox. Thus, no solution. But... I get it. :) |

False, because there is 0 saying A is true, but there is 1 saying B is true, B wont disprove itself by calling A, who says B is true, false without a good reason :-)
Ok i will stop before what little left of my brain leaks out of my ears. |
