Thanks George Dubya

perhaps instead of attacking the president about the raise in prices of gasoline you should perhaps point a finger at OPEC, who have steadily decreased production of oil in order to artificially raise the price of barrels of oil.
They even decreased the production of oil when we had a surplus after september 11th (because planes were not flying etc.) when gasoline became cheaper for a small period of time, causing a hike in prices again. Now because they know we can't get oil prices cheaper because production of oil from iraqi oil wells is not happening, they came out and said they were slowing production by a million barrels a day, I think they said. Thanks OPEC! |
Ouch. $1.00 more than it is here.

Who's encouraging OPEC to keep prices high?
I seem to recall a time when we liked this saddam guy, until erm, what happened between us? Oh yeah, he didn't want to hike up oil prices with the rest of opec, therefore making him some kind of renegade. |
he broke the embargo levied on the United States by OPEC I belive, and sold us OIL when none of OPEC would.
However you think he did that for his love of apple pie, and mickey mouse? he lined his own pockets and used that money to build his palaces and army. His invasion of his neighbour, and his belief we would do nothing about it is why we were no longer "friends" with him. |
don't know what the price is around here it is over $2.00 but dayum that is bad.

and no matter what the price is never going to "go down" http://www.lifeaftertheoilcrash.net http://www.americanassembler.com/iss.../peak_oil.html http://edition.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/eu...ing/index.html :thumbsup |
thank you for your informative link in your message.
However, OPEC (even with conservation of natural resources) is more to blame for the price of oil that the president of the United States, no? |

Oh come on, there's pleny of oil left underneath all the wildlife preserves. As soon as we start tapping into that, we'll be good to go! :thumbsup |
