BMW finally listens

I just test drove the 645 Coupe at my local dealership.
Its as fast as it is good looking

They eliminated the fin on the roof :) and softened up the trunk lid on the car.The interior is nearly perfect in this car.

I thought my M3 was the last BMW i was going to own..but with this latest release..there is hope! :)

The pictures of this car really don't do it justice. They toned back the wraparound headlights quite a bit compared to the current 5 series.

It is available in cabriolet..my dealer had one of each on the lot :)

hova 03-23-2004 08:56 AM

that car is so fucking sexy

FuqALot 03-23-2004 08:56 AM

They are 160.000usd here. I'd rather buy something else for that money.

Yeah. Netherlands sucks with cars. Most german cars are sold to the Netherlands for a lower price than to the US. But the tax is just plain stupid, so the price is very high. You can just buy the car in germany and ship it by parts then put the car together here and it will even save you some g's.

Platinumpimp 03-23-2004 09:05 AM

I testdrove it the other day

The one I drove only had 400+ miles on it,so i wasn't able to really stretch it out.Once it's broken in,this car is solid and fast!

Herve here (my partner at Totem) has one since begining of March.

I got one question for you guys: what's the use of the silver thing in front of the iDrive button? We found the answer in the car, but it took us a little while :)

hova 03-23-2004 09:23 AM

I just made a apointment with my dealer for a testdrive tomorrow morning

Nydahl 03-23-2004 09:38 AM

what to say ? I am impressed. But I think that this car can easily end up the same way as BMW 850 - also was a great car that time but no best seller at all.

I like the look , but the rag top reminds me of a Saab for some reason.

Manowar 03-23-2004 09:41 AM

Sexy Rex 03-23-2004 10:37 AM

The silver thing in front of the "iDrive" button is there to hold the cup holder...
