Question for TGP owners and gallery builders
 

Here's a Q for everyone who makes the most of their income from TGP traffic... how much bandwidth do you chew per day? per month?

I'm chewing about 40GB-50GB per day now .. and this month bandwidth overages are stabbing into my back so deep I can't walk.

So how about everyone else? How much are the bandwidth sucking free porn leeches taking from you?

how many galleries/TGP's are you hosting? to be eating 40-50 gigs a day is outrageous if you only have a couple hosted.

I do 5 galleries per day plus I run 3 or 4 tgps. All in all I'm hosting + 300 galleries at the moment and it grows every day.

My tgps are small though .. biggest is 10k. It's the galleries that eat up the bandwidth.

What are you paying per gig on BW?

Are you pulling in a decent profit to cover BW and so on?

i used to chew up about 5 gig a day but now since the majority of my trades have gone belly up i'm only using about 800 meg a day...

I'm doing about 30-35gb a day. Around 100-150k uniques daily or so.

I get 1000GB for $69 which is amazing. I paid a $100 setup fee to get that rate and it was worth it .. but the catch .. my web host won't upgrade me. It's $0.50 per GB overage. .. which is still reasonable .. but I'm stuck paying the overage charges .. which is how they make their money back. I'm gonna run $150 USD this month in overages.

At the moment I'm making enough profit to more than cover it. However, I made a few predictions .. if I acheive my goal of 8.3 sign-ups per day I'm gonna run $1250 in overages alone .. lol. ( That's based on my click-through and sign-up ratios as well as my pageviews vs. bandwidth trends)

I e-mailed my web host this morning to see if they could at least give me a deal on a second server so I can get an additional 1000GB. The past two weeks I've been putting all new galleries on a different domain so that if I do get the second server I can immediately split the bandwidth.

I used to use a lot but now I dont use much at all cus I stopped submitting galleries for a while and cus I stopped actively seeking trades with my tgps ... when I was a newb a long time ago I once got a virtual hosting plan with $5 a gig overage ... in one month I had like $500 in overage fees :( since then I've been dedicated, and I dont even use half the bandwidth I have

i am now runnig mpg and i am on 0.2GB per day. haha
