Toolbars, making the guilt go away
 

I didn't want to get into the toolbar thing since I hate the fucking things when a site tries to install them on my computer.

But I thought I'd try out a couple of programs and see if I could stomach it. Yesterday (Sunday) I put the code into some sites.

The results are in, and I have no regrets. :glugglug

I never post shit like this, I was just suprised at how much I could make by tossing code into pages that weren't making much money.

Can you explain what they are and how you decided to push them? I don't surf much, and when I do it's always "friendly" sites, so I really have no idea what these do/are.

What type of traffic were you feeding? Exits, etc?

They're the active X deals that popup and say "do you want to install the cool xxx search bar" and shit like that. If the surfer chooses to download and install, you get a few cents.
Then the surfer has a search bar added into their IE, and usually their home page changes to go along with it.

That's what I meant by the guilt, because I hate the damn things personally.

I can't stand them and close the page right away.Most trades hate them as well so I stay away from them. But if you run a CJ site,I guess you get used to them.If it works go for it
