Wow, I'm very helpful this morning
Some dude wanted advice about gettng in the biz. I rarely give out this much detail... damn, I wrote to much, lol.
Hey, I'll try to answer as much as I can without giving away all my secrets, lol.
AMVC is the leader in amateur adult video distribution. They handle all the "back end" work... all you've got to do is send them your footage. I NEVER had a problem with them and I would highly recommend them! When you're ready, hit me up and I'll give you a solid contact person.
I'm very fortunate that I'm in a college town. I don't know San Diego but I'm sure there's college's there and an alternative side. My sites work because their real... I'm a real person. Check out the story on http://www.sweetcuties.com/main.html For the most part that story is true, that's why it looks easy. But their are drawbacks. The best advice I can give you is to get an attorney first and have an iron clad model release! Also, I recommend NOT SHOOTING GIRLS WHO STILL LIVE AT HOME! I cant' stress that enough!!
I can't tell you what I pay girls but standard industry rate is generally $150-$250 for softcore stuff.
The GL2 is a bad ass camera... I'm still using my GL1 that I've had since I started in 01. I haven't upgraded because I'm very pleased with the results. That camera was in the shop once because I dropped it checking out some dude's porn site:)
