My grandfather passed away 2 nights ago and today was the first day at the funeral home. All his grandkids and kids are there, some flew all across the country to be there.

We laughed and we cried. Everyone's on good terms and we supported each other in our time of need. It was quite touching and I realised today how much my family means to me and how little we get to be with each other. Sometimes it takes a dramatic event to realise it.

Take good care of your family because you will need them and they will need you.

There is no bond in life stronger than that of your own blood.

Yep it's true the only time I get to see my whole family at once is wedding and funerals.

Hopefully we will have more of the first instead of the latter. :winkwink:

Can you remind me who you are again sir? i don't think i've ever heard of you before.

Yeah i hear you, it's just that at the weddings there's always a cousin that never seem to be able to make it, living in BC and all. Sucks really, but it's damn good to see them nonetheless.
